Caring for Your Kitchen Equipment
Once you have the kitchen equipment that you need, the next thing you should do is learn how to take care of it. Hopefully you have a good collection of high quality yet reasonably priced equipment. However, the fact that your equipment is high quality wont even matter if you dont know how to take care of it.
When you purchase the equipment, make sure you read in the manual the proper way to store it and wash it. Some items such as cast iron skillets should not be placed in the dishwasher or else theyd get ruined. Also, some pots may need to be seasoned or broken in such as woks or cast iron skillets.
But no matter how well you care for your kitchen items, you may find that you will need to replace things sooner or later. Thats okay if you use it all the time thats too be expected.
