Unattended cooking causes fire in home (Guelph Mercury)
Firefighters responded to a fire in a home at 255 Deerpath Dr. Thursday morning. They found the kitchen filled with heavy smoke. The homeowner was treated for smoke inhalation. The fire started when cooking was left unattended.
