Giving A Fruit basket Is Just About The Perfect Present
Everyone loves a basket of fruit so giving a fruit basket is just a great idea and perfect for just about any time of the year and for any person. This is a gift that is good for the kids teachers, neighbors, family and friends, Christmas, Valentine’s Day and event the Forth of July. Creating your own basket is pretty simple.
There are just a few simple supplies you will need to put together your git of fruit. You will need some shredded paper, a wicker basket, scissors, bows, blow dryer, flowers, ribbons, heat-sealable plastic gift-wrapping and of course fruit.
The fruit needs to be very colorful and of course as perfect as possible. No big blemishes or bruises. Traditional things go well in the basket like oranges, bananas, and apples but more unusual fruit gives the basket more interest like pineapple, mangoes and kiwi.
The container does not have to be wicker but that is traditional and some colored paper that is shredded will make a nice bed for the fruit to rest in the container. The larger fruit should be on the bottom or to one side with the little pieces of fruit resting around the bottom layer.
The gift is now put together and in order to present it and preserve the fruit until you give the gift you can use the heat-sealable plastic. This should be wrapping paper that says it is good or using with things that are edible. Cut the paper to be about three time greater than the size of the container.
When you have your gift ready and the wrapping paper is cut to size then lay it out and place the container in the middle. The sides of the paper can be pulled together at the top of the handle of the container then sealed using a the heat from a blow dryer. When the paper is sealed you have created a gift bag.
Now it is time to decorate your gift with anything you think the person receiving the gift will enjoy. You can add candies, flowers, bows, ribbons, or anything that is decorative. Gift baskets with fruit a yummy and healthy and always something that lights up the face of the person who receives the gift. In fact, it is so good that giving the same gift to the same person more than once is a good thing. The will actually begin to anticipate your special gift of fruit which is always an enjoyable thing.
To change the fruit basket each time you give one you can add more than just fruit. You can add in flowers, nuts, or a special gift for the person that you can center in the basket and layer the fruit around the gift item.
